The Quantitative Developer Certificate (QDC) 

The objective of the course is to develop fundamental skills of quantitative developer role. The course is of an introductory level and does not require programming experience.

The course is designed by practitioners from quantitative finance with experience in model development for derivative pricing and systematic trading. The primary coding languages of the course are Python and C++. As it is essential in finance to work with time series data we introduce the database kdb+ and the language q, which are the leading solutions for storing the time series.

The course consists of 5 Modules: Python for Finance, C++ Fundamentals and Use Cases from Quantitative Finance, Data Structures and Algorithms in C++, Databases in Finance – KDB, and Design of Systematic Trading Platforms (including high-frequency trading systems, HFT). Throughout the course sample test questions from quant interviews will be provided. One should also expect the final test exam at the end of the course.


Algorithmic Trading Certificate (ATC): A Practitioner’s Guide

Throughout our unique programme, we provide a strong foundation in the tools and techniques used in algorithmic trading. Studying at your own pace you'll learn the basic programming concepts, moving through advanced trading strategies and discovering methods for research into new alpha sources. Applying everything in hands-on projects throughout the course. Unlike the other courses, the Algorithmic Trading: Practitioners Guide course takes a hands-on approach to building trading pipelines, from data to features to modelling to allocation to execution to performance measurement, guiding the student through common practice as well as areas of innovation.


Large Language Models (LLMs) in Finance Certificate 

The Large Language Models (LLMs) in Finance Certificate will guide participants through the essentials of LLMs, including their architecture, operation, and the latest advancements in the field. It will delve into the practical aspects of deploying these models for financial tasks, such as fine-tuning for domain-specific applications, implementing retrieval-augmented generation for enhanced information processing, and evaluating model performance. Through a series of hands-on examples and projects, learners will gain the skills necessary to apply LLMs effectively within the finance sector, addressing real-world challenges and unlocking new opportunities.


The Artificial Intelligence Finance Institute (AIFI) 

This bootcamp covers the theory, implementation and use of Artificial Intelligence models in finance. Participants will learn the mathematical and statistical aspects of the modern quantitative analysis modeling. We will see machine learning models theory and practical implementations. We will provide AI python code and extensive materials.


The Certificate of Bank Treasury Risk Management (BTRM)  

The Certificate of Bank Treasury Risk Management (BTRM) is a professional qualification and certification in bank Treasury, Capital Markets and balance sheet risk management. The programme is a 6-month modular qualification, with cohorts starting every April and October. Obtaining the BTRM provides students not only with a recognised professional qualification demonstrating excellence in the Treasury space, it is also a sign of genuine commitment to excellence in risk management. The BTRM has partnered with University of Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) to offer the programme jointly. We are very proud to be associated with such a prestigious institution, which of course benefits graduating BTRM students who will now be awarded their Certificates from FHNW.


The Machine Learning Institute Certificate in Finance (MLI) 

The MLI is a comprehensive seven-month part-time course, with weekly live lectures in London or globally online. The MLI is comprised of 2 levels, 5 Primers, 8 modules, 32 lecture weeks, assignments, a practical final project and a final exam which can be taken from any global location online using our live invigilation platform.
